This page represents newer content I couldn't fit on the other "JoJo" page.

As this project progressed, content focusing on quick jokes became obsolete in favor of storytelling. Sure, the audience metric took a dip but having more time to employ new techniques every video and making content I could be proud of, made this project vastly more enjoyable to work on.
Featured on this page is "Beach Episode", assets from "CarnEvil", some concept art and a few tid bits from the cancelled "You & Me & Her" animation.

No physics based animation here! Every strand of hair is done by hand.

At this point I realized JoJo desperately needed a redesign as the "gothic witch" aesthetic didn't suit her anymore. The new face + hairstyle was present during "Beach Episode" and the reason why she was naked is because I was still designing her outfit!
"CarnEvil" is a review of an arcade game (also called CarnEvil) and acted as the beginning for phase 2 of the project. I tried to show this as dramatically as possible by having our titular JoJo getting shot in the head by an unknown assailant.
This was by far the largest and most difficult project to date, featuring a ton of video editing, animation, custom assets and more. Of course a lot of it is copyrighted material so please enjoy some content that isn't.

This page might be slow if you're on a mobile device, sorry!

This fly-through was made VERY early on, back when the video was called "Meat Garden". This was designed and modelled purely from heart.

A fully modelled arcade cabinet of CarnEvil. Thankfully most of the cabinet art was preserved online as well as reference shots of the physical cabinet.

These title card appear during each chapter in the video and were each created during development of their respective segments. As my skills as an artist/designer increased, so too did the designs.

The story was planned to continue with "You & Me & Her", an animation showcasing some revamped character designs (shown below) and with newly hired voice actors. But with the unexpected success of the spinoff visual novel "Ferarum", this has been put on hold.

Subtle move from the voodoo inspired dress to something a tad more casual. Plus the hair of course which is a throw back to Jojo's original cow lick hair.

Yup, that's 224 different bones! It takes a ton of patience to animate them all but boy does it look nice!
