Vapor Drift
In collaboration with professional video game designer John White, Vapor Drift is an easy to play, hard to master, drift racing game for PC and mobile devices. Below are low-poly 3D models of the environment featured in the first track. The theme was "Desert", so I aimed to create a stage that features ruins of the old world as well as the modern world.
Vapor Drift: Volume 2
Upon finishing the first map for Vapor Drift, I began theorizing what the next stage would look like. The low poly aesthetic was a necessity at this point since it worked so well last time. But unlike last time, I wanted this stage to take place in a more open and vibrant environment that feels comfortable to the player and less claustrophobic.
Blue Melancholy
An animation I created during my first year at Otago School of Design. It depicts the final hours of a young woman in hospital. The style and coloring was chosen as an attempt to capture the dreamlike state of being in this characters position. This project was entirely drawn and animated using Adobe Photoshop.
